ROMANCE IS IN THE AIR.......

ROMANCE no. 1

SiuYi came to meet me straight after school to have a 1 to 1 lesson, just to learn to bake and decorate all 15 cupcakes for her boyfriend’s birthday. For 3 hours, she worked so hard to present the BEST birthday present to her guy. She was ecstatic when she saw the end results. 15 D-LYCIOUS chocolate cupcakes beautifully decorated…plus some extras for her parents too.

SiuYi told me that’s the happiest moment of her life…cos she’s achieved something that she’s never thought she would. I’m soooo PROUD of her… and very HAPPY for her too J

Well done, SiuYi!  Your boyfriend is very lucky to have a galfriend like you!

 

ROMANCE no. 2

Brandon emailed me a few times, asking me to bake special cupcakes for his gal. Patiently, he typed out the word and dates on each of the 12 cupcakes. His story is kinda sad…. His galfriend for 3 months is leaving Singapore to study overseas....so he wanted to do something special for her... 

I wanted to create something that the girlfriend can keep for a long time. So I bought some very nice stickers for the names/ dates. And used gumpaste (instead of fondant that might melt) to form the base. This way, she can enjoy the cupcakes and keep all the ‘special tags’ for a long time. 

Brandon smsed me later on to say “My gf really liked it a lot…really touched. Ty a lot.”
